Plans

Superthread plans apply to a single workspace. If you have multiple workspaces and would like to upgrade them all, you would need to purchase a plan for each workspace separately.

Free plan

The free plan is designed to get started with Superthread. Workspaces on the free plan have access to most features, all integrations, and unlimited team members (seats). Every user in a free workspace is considered an ‘Admin’ and can configure all functionality.

The Free plan has file attachment limits. When you reach the limit, new uploads will not be allowed. Previous attachments will not be deleted.

Standard plan

The Standard plan is suitable for most teams, and is available on a monthly or yearly subscription. If you are unsure which plan is right for you, we recommend this one.

Standard plans have all of the features included in the Free plan, but with no attachment limits, increased controls like Guest users, private spaces, and administrator roles. Please note that all user roles including Guests are billable seats.

Billing

Billing is managed on a per-workspace basis and calculated based on the number of team members of any role (including guests) in the workspace.

All subscriptions will automatically renew at the end of the billing cycle unless cancelled by an admin or owner of the workspace.

Monthly subscription

Your account is charged on a monthly basis for the number of team members (including guests) that have been added to your workspace.

If you add team members during the month, a pro-rated charge will be added to the next monthly bill to cover the partial month’s usage.

If you remove team members during the month, changes will be reflected in your next monthly bill.

Annual subscription

Annual subscriptions offer a discount for a longer upfront commitment. We charge your account for the whole subscription year based on the number of team members (including guests) that you have at the time of purchase.

If you add users during the year, we will charge a pro-rated amount for the remainder of the billing year. The charges will be billed at the end of the month in which the users were added.

If you remove members, you can re-allocate their seat to a new team member for the remainder of the cycle. We do not offer refunds. If the seat is left unused at the end of the yearly cycle, the subscription will renew for the reduced number of seats.

Manage billing

Go to Settings > Workspace > Billing to see your plan information and make changes. From there, you can:

  • View and change your plan.

  • Update your payment information.

  • View billing history — past invoices and charges.

Cancelling a subscription

Only admins and workspace owners can cancel a subscription from Settings > Workspace > Plans.

Subscription updates take effect at the end of the billing cycle. If you are on a monthly plan, this will be at the end of the billing month. If you are on a yearly plan, this will be at the end of the billing year.

To prevent unexpected charges, cancelling your subscription will limit the maximum number of team members in the workspace until the end of the billing cycle. For example if your last bill was for 10 team members, you will be limited to a max of 10 team members until your subscription expires.

We do not provide refunds for cancellations mid-billing cycle. If you are not sure about committing to an annual plan, we recommend starting on a monthly plan first. You can switch to yearly plan at any time to take advantage of our discounted rates.
